Introduction

Elites Connect (a limited liability company under Tunisian law, hereinafter 'the Company' or 'we') places great importance on the protection of its users' and members' personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is collected, used, retained and protected in connection with the use of elitesconnect.com and associated services. By accessing the Site or creating an account, the User accepts the practices described in this policy.

Data controller

The data controller is Elites Connect, with its registered office in La Soukra, Tunis, Tunisia. For any questions regarding your personal data, you may contact us at: contact@elitesconnect.com.

Data collected

In connection with the use of the Site and our services, we collect the following categories of data:

• Identification data: surname, first name, date of birth, profile photograph
• Contact details: email address, telephone number
• Professional data: company name, job title / position
• Membership data: card type, subscription date, expiry date, partner visit history
• Connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, connection timestamps
• Payment data: payment method chosen, transfer reference (where applicable). Elites Connect does not store any bank card data

Purpose of data collection

Personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:

• Creation and management of member accounts
• Provision and personalisation of services (partner network, concierge, events, private club)
• Processing of memberships and payments
• Account-related communications: notifications, expiry alerts, activation codes
• Sending of commercial and promotional communications (newsletters, campaigns), with the prior consent of the Member
• Improvement of the Site and services through usage data analysis
• Fraud prevention and Site security
• Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data is based on the performance of the membership contract (GTC), the explicit consent of the Member for commercial communications, the legitimate interest of the Company (service improvement, fraud prevention) and compliance with legal obligations applicable in Tunisia.

Data sharing

Elites Connect does not sell, rent or transfer its Members' personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only with technical service providers necessary for the operation of the Site (hosting, email delivery, analytics), in strict compliance with confidentiality requirements, or upon request from a competent judicial or administrative authority. Profile data (name, company, position) of Corporate and Privilege members is visible within the member network, in accordance with the service subscribed.

Retention period

Personal data is retained for the duration of the Member's active membership, then for a maximum of three (3) years following the end of the membership, for dispute management and legal compliance purposes. Connection and browsing data is retained for a maximum of twelve (12) months. At the end of these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

User rights

In accordance with Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data in Tunisia, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and receive a copy
• Right of rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to object: object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your personal data
• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to commercial communications at any time

To exercise your rights, send your request by email to contact@elitesconnect.com enclosing a copy of a valid identity document. We will respond within a maximum of thirty (30) days.

Data security

Elites Connect implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication mechanisms and strict data access controls.

International transfers

Personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside Tunisia (notably in the United States via our hosting providers). In such cases, Elites Connect ensures that these transfers comply with adequate protection guarantees in accordance with Tunisian law.

Minors

Elites Connect services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Policy amendments

Elites Connect reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any amendment will be published on this page with a revised update date. In the event of a material change, Members will be notified by email.
